About
Albert Pocej is a Lithuanian photographer, conceptual artist, writer and teacher working between Vilnius and Monaco. His practice brings together staged photography, the geometry of the body, visual humour and the unexpected behaviour of everyday objects.
Before photography, Pocej worked as an IT director. His later practice includes an extensive period in Monaco, alongside personal projects and commercial commissions.
He founded the Genius Photos school, teaching the psychological and human aspects of making a photograph. His practice also includes writing, fine art printing and framing in his own studio.
